Who We Are
Formed out of a need to create an authentically local auctioneering company to cater to local industries and needs, Lescor was formed out of a defunct Aucor Lesotho. With all the expertise and quality exercised during Aucor Lesotho’s lifespan, Lescor has now come to benefit from this independently. With its main headquarters in Maputo, conveniently accessible to South Africa, a strong business relationship is still maintained with Aucor Auctioneers and other South African partners.
What We Do
We aid our partnered sellers in managing and acquiring their assets through the medium of auctions. We work alongside you to determine the perfect selling price of your auction item. We will not sell the item at less than the selling price you are expecting, unless you are willing to confirm the sale.
Auction administration as follows:
• Lescor will be responsible for the administration of the auction.
• Lescor will assist Seller in setting reserve price on assets to be auctioned where necessary.
• Lescor shall put together an advertising campaign which will need to be in progress a minimum of two weeks before the auction. Advertisement shall be paid by the client.
• Lescor shall organize viewing of the assets a day or two before the auction.
• On the day of the auction all potential buyers shall pay a registration amount agreed on by Lescor and Seller and this amount shall form part of the bidder’s payment should they make a purchase. If the bidder does not end up buying the goods or assets, they are refunded their full amount. However, should the customer cancel a bid they will forfeit their registration money.
• The Seller shall be responsible for the insurance of all goods and assets to be auctioned.
